I can see why on the surface, a lot of people like Apres Diem. It has a great patio, it's convinient in spite of it's strip mall location and it's generally happening with a good looking, hip crowd. That's also why it's so dissapointing. It should be a lot better and it doesn't seem like they care to make it so. They have found their niche and the crowd comes anyway. So what if the service sucks... hey, they're cute! So what if the pasta is over-cooked and bland... what a great atmosphere! So what if you are paying premium prices to be ignored... the weather is awesome tonight! It's funny how they ignore you when they are waiting on you and then dissapear when you want to pay. Well... not really funny, just odd and annoying. Worth a check it out sometime, but you can do better.
