I used to go to Cafe La Scala for my birthday and friends all the time. And haven't been there for a couple of years. But I just went back recently and was not happy with the service and food. The food was very plain and simple. There wasn't a lot of flavor to the dishes we ordered. The pasta was like Red Robins or Denny's. And the server was definitely not all together. I had to ask him a couple of times for water and lemon and place setting because we didn't have enough.
