Two girlfriends and I had a belated birthday dinner here on a Monday night. We were the youngest people in there by far (and we're in our late 20's/early 30's!) and less than half of the tables were occupied. The dining room is nicely appointed but the vibe is a bit stuffy. The service was surprisingly mediocre for a restaurant that is considered one of L.A.'s best. The lobster/crab bisque was too salty. The N.Y. steak was fine but nothing I couldn't get at another chop house in the city. At about $70 a person, for an appetizer, entree, and one shared dessert (no alcohol), it was an expensive meal, considering that it wasn't that great.
Pros: nice dining room
Cons: , mediocre service
