This is one of the best places I have found in LA. Fish was really fresh and almost buttery. Rice was just as it should be, the individual pieces almost falling apart, just lightly formed, not mushed and pressed together like in other places. Yes the selection is not up to you, but for true sushi fanatic, it's all about the taste. I love hole in the wall places rather than flashy or trendy places. Everyone can say they don't like this place, better parking and less line-ups for me!
