Any Kamaaina or local resident visiting the Island of Maui will most likely be bringing back an""omiyage"" or gift back home from Sam's. Those white boxes you see passengers carrying on the plane is Japanese Mochi or Manju. Things may have slowed down a bit with Hawaii's first Krispy Kreme being located right next to the Airport. Nevertheless, if you intend on bringing home these Japanese desserts, please call in advance to reserve your box.
