I'd heard a LOT about this place and now, having been, I think it's a bit over-hyped. I had the Lamb Tahine, which was very tasty but not enough meat for the price ($22). They have a unique array of choices, a large and interesting wine list and on Sundays and Mondays you can bring your own bottle and there is no corking fee. The atmosphere is cozy while slightly austere. The service was excellent and the waiter had a good working knowledge of the menu, and made good suggestions. Yes, it's pricey but is the value there? Depends, not for me. So it's a splurge place rather than a regular hangout.
