Having come there for a lite bite and dessert, we were very pleased with the fig salad and cornichons appetizers. When we arrived we asked about when the kitchen would close and were told it was closing in about an hour. We specificially told our server that we were there for dessert but then the service was so slow we almost missed it as we were told again that the kitchen would be closing soon. (I felt a little underserved at this point) Dessert was very dissappointing. There was a chocolate ganache cake on the menu board, but the server asked if we could substitute for a molten chocolate cake. It turned out tasting like it was made from a mix. The pear tart was very bland and textureless. I hope the desserts are improved because I think Seattle needs a good dessert and drinks spot.
