I live just across Monroe Dr. from Apres and frequent this spot on a semi-regular basis. It is a wonderful place to come alone and read (early in the day) or to go with a first date to ""talk over coffee."" I can see why others would have ""bad experiences,"" but this is certainly a place you need to experience yourself in order to make an informed choice. I definately wouldn't ever let a few poor reviews keep me from findong out for myself. And on the off chance you do have a bad time- inform the management. The brunch is wonderful- the desserts are great, and the coffee is one of a kind! Try it out yourself, all you have to lose is a few bucks!
Pros: Tomato Montrachet, Great Desserts, Good value/portions
Cons: , Too "Youthful" Crowd
