Stowe has spent millions in the last year upgrading their snowmaking facilities, accessiblity to the trails and to the resort itself. I have friends in the area and they have told me that this place is huge. They have a gondola going from mountain to mountain so there is no more shuttle. The hotel has expanded to accomadate hundreds of more guests and they're putting in a golf course to attract year round guests. The food in town is incredible. I've stayed for days up there and have only eaten at the same places only because I like them and the night life is great. Traffic can be hectic, but not unlike any other restorts I've stayed at. All in all, the place is a great stay for the whole family.
