Eating at Saha, is a treat for the palate as well as the imagination. Chef Mohamed's bold and creative combinations of flavors and spices is something that must be experienced to be fully understood. He takes the knowledge of food and spices from his native Yemen and combines it with the wonderful fresh ingredients available in California and creates food that is nourishing for the soul. When you eat a dish like the couscous you are having the real deal of authentic and yet transcendent Middle Eastern cooking. He is a master of bringing new life to the traditional cuisine as well as experimenting and exploring completely new culinary territory. I highly recommend anything, especially the soups.
