I took my partner here last Sunday night for his birthday and we had a wonderful time. One of the best French meals we've had in the US - definitely rivaling some of the best we've had in Paris and other foodie spots in France. The chef, Jean Francois, came out to talk to all the tables at least twice and everything we ate was excellent - the preparation and the presentation. Sunday night offers free corkage of which we took advantage and appreciated. The service was friendly and very attentive but not oppressive. The room is comfortably formal and impeccably decorated. You'll spend some money here but for what you get it's way up there in value relative to anything else in LA.
