Not only did InSight optimize my vision, Dr. Sweeney and staff evaluated my eye health using computerized state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Dr. Sweeney checked for eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts as well as looked for early signs of medical problems such as diabetes and hypertension. The doctor thoroughly explained your eye health status and vision needs with an emphasis on preventative care.
No dilation was required as Dr. Sweeney is one of only three offices in Atlanta that performs the Optomap Retinal Exam. In less that 0.25 seconds a digital scan of my entire inside of my eye (retina and optic nerve) was taken and then later reviewed with me a few minutes afterward. It becomes a permanent part of my record monitor my eye health. I was able to go back to work without blurred vision and light sensitivity because no dilating drops were necessary.
