This restaurant best serves large groups of hungry kids and sports teams and the atmosphere reflects this. Baskets of roasted, salted peanuts are there for the asking and the custom is to toss the shells on the floor.
Food is quite good: a small antipasto salad is under $4 and it's filled with yummy stuff. There's no skimping on good meats and cheese. The salad is more than enough for an entree or an appetizer for a couple of people.
Friday nights are jam-packed. Be prepared for a long wait to order at the counter and hoards of kids gleefully screaming as they tear through the place. All in all, it's a good place to go ""after the game"".
