I grew up in Plain Dealing, and I miss Giles more than some of the people. Mrs. Giles still gets up every morning and makes here pies from scratch. (Tip: If you want a whole pie, you have to order a day in advance)
Everything is made from scratch and some of the ingredients come from local gardens.
Great people, great food, great atmosphere. It's worth the trip out of the way to go there.
