OK... not the most polished decor... but who carres? A friend introduced me to the Tap a few years back. We had brunch, and I ordered one of the simplest items you can get: biscuits and gravy. Well, I gotta tell you, I've been hooked ever since! The fact that they can take such ""pedestrian"" food (such as my biscuits and gravy at bruch, flank steak sandwich, pulled pork, or even a burger) and make it memorable is a testament to the Chef and management. The busy dining rooms (upstairs is quieter, if that's what you want) attest to the fact that they have achieved what others can only hope for... 4-star food that you can enjoy in jeans and a t-shirt with a good pint of local brew! Love it!
Pros: great food, local brews, won't break the bank
Cons: can get loud at times
