What to say about Bluehour? It is the least pretentious ""pretentious"" place in Portland. The staff is professional and friendly and the bar area is inviting and somewhat casual. The price is what surprises me the most. You can get a variety of items for around $10 that are very satisfying, try the gnocchi and the scallops. Their cocktails are $6-7 and worth every penny, fresh juices and a premium well. The energy and clientele are what make it a great place. Watch out for the lines to the bathroom and the listen for the music that sets the tempo for the night. Smoking outside only, a huge plus.
Pros: Ambience, Music, People
Cons: Sometimes Crowded, Sometimes Loud
