This place is one of the reasons I love living in Ballard. I don't eat meat, so I was wary of a place that specializes in german food, but they won me over with the breaded tomato sandwiches, baby greens, goat cheese, and fried pickles. And they mix a fine cocktail if you're not in the mood for a malt beverage. Truly a great neighborhood pub; relaxed, comfy, good drinks and good food.
