Ate at Tru in the last week of June this year while on vacation in Chicago. While the food was good it was not great. Had the lamb as a main and enjoyed it. The quality of the meat was exceptional but the portion small by about 30%. Wine list was impressive but again far too over priced and lacking in Australian selections. Wait staff was efficient but mechanical and entirely aloof. My advice is to stay away from the sushi. It's mediocre at best and you should never expect to be served ""real"" sushi unless it is served at an exclusively Japanese restaurant prepared be a Japanese master. Too bad there seems to be little to none of these in Chicago.
Pros: Elegant, Location
Cons: Price, Stuffy
