maybe mr. baggins (review below) just needs to get used to portland. saturday market is an institution that is entertaining, full of interesting hand made things (under the bridge), with lots of restaurants in the vicinity (if you don't like the food that is vended). not to mention waterfont park across the street. great people watching, friendly atmosphere. i think it's a great place to spend a sunny saturday or sunday afternoon. oh well, some people just don't get it. live here long enough and you will.
