This place was advertised as a rustic, turn-of-the-century mountain spa. Actually, it is a shabby, neglected, sorely-in-need-of-renovation old hotel. There are newer wings with motel rooms - no a/c or security (the outside doors were left open all night) - the mattresses were terrible and the pillows worse. The spa facilities and pool were in need of work - they looked so grungy I was afraid to use them. The staff was mostly teenagers and clueless. The lobby reeked of incense - this is not a place I'd recommend.
Pros: location, cheap
Cons: shabby, smelly, not comfortable
