Especially now that they have restarted their weekend brunches (have the rabbit hash), SPL is a must for every carnivore near Los Angeles. The jaunt up the canyons feels like a little get-away to the best tasting dishes. The game dishes are delicious, not ""gamey"" and the atmosphere is fanTASTICly rustic/hunting lodge. Get on the mailing list so that you don't miss out on the event-driven dinners (Halloween is a lot of fun). Unless you are a vegetarian, there is no excuse to miss out on this amazing place.
