Without a doubt, the Salt Lick is by far the best barbeque there is (not just the best in town). And you can take that from someone who overall, is not a big fan of BBQ!
The sauce is light & flavorful, not like a thick ketchup consistency...
The meat is first rate, the sides are consistently good, and the ambience is down-home, Texas. Think of it this way, if a restaraunt is filled to the gills every weekend, and they ONLY take cash, you KNOW it's got to be good!
