I recently visited the famed Robert's of Charleston after much anticipation. I must say that Robert has a wonderful voice and puts on a good show. The small room can provide an intimate or a crowded setting, however, depending on the night you visit (we were at a table next to a group of probably 30 so it was a little too tight for my comfort). Another consideration is your priorities in choosing Robert's. If you simply want to hear a good male voice, this is the spot for you. But if your main interest is in your stomach as opposed to your ear, I would recommend looking into some of the other fine restaurants in the area. The cuisine, in my opinion, is of a higher caliber in other establishments in the area.
