Okay, the beignets are fairly decent, but they're basically soapapillas (the Mexican equal) with powdered sugar on them. Buy a box in a grocery store (not the French Market!) and make your own. Whatever you do, don't get your coffee iced no matter how hot it is! If you do, you'll get maybe five swallows of it before it's gone, they put so much ice in it. I'm surprised anyone who lives in N.O. would bother to go there. There are tons of tourists, the lines are very long and they're expensive. I live in the Northwest where my latte's cost 99 cents. My experience was very bad, so there's no way I would recommend it.
