The highlights of this restaurant which occupies the site of the former Hayes-Barton pharmacy are without question its outstanding desserts. The food is rather good, although simple, and makes for an excellent lunch; unfortunately the cost of dinners here is usually prohibitive, but the superb in-house desserts more than make up for this shortcoming, ranging from a myriad of rich, moist cakes to fresh fruit pies and airy mousses. The milkshakes and malts are also a must at lunch.
