I have been going to Brookfields since I was a teenager. I now take my 4 kids there and only once have we encountered a bad meal or bad service. It is the only place my out of town reletives will eat at when coming to visit. The portions are great, the variety is enough for anyone. Their chicken fried steak for breakfast or dinner is THE BEST anywhere I have found. Their desserts... ohhh yep, heaven. You can get a huge breakfast, coffee and leave a tip for under $10.00. It is by far the first choice for us when it comes to comfort food and quick service. The only drawback is the vaulted cielings and open kithcen. It can be hard on the elderly or youngsters with touchy hearing. Otherwise they can fit large tables and comfy boothes surround the place.
