This place is so authentically Texas, the last time I was in there I met Flaco Jimenez. He's friends with the owner I believe ... there's a taco plate named after him. Definitely a great place for a little Lone Star nostalgia, a plate of migas or some tender brisket. And you know you're not in California anymore when you only pay $5 for a pitcher of beer.
Pros: great brisket, atmosphere
Cons: salsa
