Scientific auto service is a case in point: you get what you pay for. This shop was recommended to me by a car nut friend after I told him I needed work done on my car. He mentioned two things: first, that it would be expensive (it is). Second, that I could be sure I was getting top quality service. (I believe I did). Overall, I found the mechanic to be extremely thorough. This shop primarily deals with Porches and BMWs, though they may do work on other brands as well.
