Drove up Thompson Canyon to Estes Park and along the ridge. Amazing scenery, wildflowers and wildlife. We saw several herds of elk and deer, a moose, and lots of little critters, including marmots, I think they're called. Definitely bring a picnic. Estes Park is a cute little town, and worth a stroll up and down the main street.
