The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a horrible place to hold concerts. First of all it's like 30 miles out of Houston and with traffic and never ending construction it's a headache to get there. Second parking sucks! You park in these lots e.g. Blue, Orange, etc., which are a long walk from the pavilion and to find the lots in the wooded surroundings is another headache. Finally when your there you find that there's a tiny pit area which is impossible to get tickets to so you either sit in reserved sitting which for concerts suck or way in the back on the lawn. Its not an intimate setting so therefore you lack the vibe you would feel at the Verizon Wireless Center or another smaller venue. I hate this place but I have to go there if the bands I want to see are playing there.
