Located in the footprint of the former multiplex, Stoney River emphasizes its steaks. Well they should. They were well aged and tender but the meat's flavor was hidden by the house seasoning. What they should push are the sides. Skip the fries; go for the cameralized onion or garlic mashed potatoes. But don't count on service. The salads were very late and arrived without bread. The entrees came immediately after the salads. (Still the server kept trying to take the salad plates - there must have been a shortage.) Plates were percariously place on top of the utensils or on the edge of the table. One person's entree was totally forgotten and arrived much later only long after getting the server's attention. Stoney River may think of themselves as an upscale steak house. Believe me they are not Mortons or the Palm, except maybe in price where they try.
Pros: Tender Steaks
Cons: Service, Crowded, Over-seasoned Food
