My wife introduced me to Gene & Judes when we were high school sweethearts (I moved from Missouri to Chicago, so didn't know what a good hot dog was). I joined the Military after graduation, and every time we returned to Chicago we ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS made time to get a rubberdog from Gene & Judes!! Sure, Portillo's is OK, but nothing can beat these babies! The fries are AWESOME, especially when a little mustard gets on them. Want ketchup? Go somewhere else - these dogs don't need no stinkin' ketchup!!!
