Having lived in a few states and seen a few zoos, I wasn't sure what to expect from the Hogle Zoo, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a well-kept, clean, enjoyable place to take the kids for a day. True, it may not have all of the animals that say, the San Diego Zoo, has, but this is definitely a zoo that Salt Lake can be proud of.
