Buy the bread. Don't waste your time on the food. Trust me on this one. The last (and final) chance I gave this place, I paid almost $13 for a veggie burger and a root beer, and believe you me, the burger might as well have been a garden burger made in my microwave. The bread and desserts, however, are fantastic. My overall feeling is that French Meadow is attempting to be too many things at once: bakery, coffehouse, restaurant. It should stick to what it does well; not attempt to pass off mediocre food as high quality.
