We have used practical computer to repair a number of computers in the past and have always been happy with the service and knowledge of the staff. Sometimes you have to wait to get it serviced. Their consignements are decently priced for really old parts, but newer (but still used) items are generally too pricey (compared to their new counterparts). They also build custom built to order machines, but we found them to be pricey as well (although the parts were high quality). Easy location to get to right off the beltway and Braddock Road.
