Whetstone Chocolates is the place to buy your St. Augustine souvenirs. Located near Flagler Hospital, Whetstone chocolates is a small gift shop attached to the chocolate factory. They offer free tours during business hours. On the tour you see the machines and how they make certain chocolates, see a short video of the chocolate industry in St. Augustine, and then get a free sample. The tour changes every time you go depending on what kind of chocolates they are making that day. The factory is usually closed on weekends, so to see the actual factory at work, go on a weekday.
The products in the gift shop are of excellent quality. They offer items in bulk, specialty themed items, and have a display case from which you can purchase smaller amounts of each item. They also offer sugar-free items.
