I love Maude's café. IT's located right across Starbuck's on downtown Gainesville, and it certainly has a personality that the more mainstream national chain lacks. The variety of coffees is excellent. The desserts are outstanding. Now they have added sandwiches and salads that are worth trying. If it's not too hot outside, it's an excellent place to hang out with friends. You can ask for board games, and spend hours playing with friends. Weekend nights a very good jazz band plays there. Definetily a must in Gainesville!!!
