The Okeena park (located just in front of Dyersburg State Community College) is one of the best public parks I have seen in a long time. It is spread nicely over rolling hills with old trees and new flower beds. THere is a walking trail that, if walked one full time, is just short of a mile. It includes uphill and flat stretches. There are two great playgrounds within the boundaries of the park as well as 4 picnic areas and a sand volley ball court. It is easily accessed by anyone in Dyer County and the surrounding area and is kept very clean at all times.
