It's only around $100 to become certified to dive through Saguaro Dive Shop. They have instruction classes offered one night a week and on Saturdays. You can pick which one works for you. You do pool dives but then 2 dives at Saguaro Lake. The instructors are knowledgeable and make sure you know what you are doing and help you learn it all in the short class time periods.
