Appalachian can outfit you with anything from snowboards and ski jackets to kayaks and backpacks. It is a large store with strong variety and a staff that is clearly into the activities that they are trying to sell. Ultimately, Appalachian Ski and Outdoors is just too expensive for the occasional outdoorsmen. Those people would be better served online or at the chain stores.
