Unbelievable 4/23/2019

Double windows in house all poured in water from top, where pieces should have been installed but were not. Morning room leaked in from door where they didn't finish underneath door. Three floods in house morning room, front bedroom, back bathroom and bedroom where tank busted on toilet, was cracked when they put it in and they wouldn't fix it. I had to pay for all new carpets, Garage floor has 1 1/2 inch crack and cracked ceiling directly above, they would not fix it, nor return any phone calls. Were no footers under morning room, they ignored me, called Kent County and they got it done. Composite deck that was to be put on in 30 days took 3 months and 46 phone calls. House has 183 nail pops and they will not agree to paint it with this overabundance of nail pops WHOLE HOUSE. Heat pump installed with a screw thru the wires, luckily I wasn't killed by fire, had to pay my own electrician to fix it, they ignored my calls. Kitchen floor flooded from toilet tank busting and shut off valves outside not under toilet. Foundation cracking outside and parging falling off. Siding taken off side of house to fix small windows leaking and all siding put up too tight and rippling, looks terrible, wouldn't return calls. Much more, not enough space. Front and back door hung crooked, back door leaks horribly, won,t fix it. Of course you can see they ignored us long enough for warranty to expire, except structural, which is garage floor and ceiling and foundation, but they would not respond to that either. WHAT A NIGHTMARE IT HAS BEEN AND CONTINUES TO BE. more

Dear Judy's Book Guest, As you can see by our next day reply, we are very concerned about the items you have listed and our senior management was immediately notified. Our customer service team spent much of the day trying to find house notes that line up with you listed concerns. Initially we expected this to be a simple task as we primarily build in Sussex County and while we plan to expand into Kent County, we have built very few homes in Kent County to date. On one hand, we are glad to find no warranty request that comes close to this quantity or severity of items, however that still leaves us with no information to help us identify you or your house. Our next step was to reach out to staff members to see if this sounded familiar to anyone. As of 7pm this evening we have not been able to identify anything similar. Please reach out to our customer service department at warranty@insightde.com. They have been instructed to be on the look out for an email regarding this Judy's Book post and subsequently update senior management. We hope you can appreciate our immediate attention to this situation. Being one of the top 200 home builders in the country out of tens of thousands we are large operation, however we pride ourselves on being able to act "small" when it comes to customer concerns. We are anxiously looking forward to receiving your email.
