I had received an ad in the Grand Season magazine for "The Plumber Guy" which called for a free service call and a $35.00 discount on any plumbing service repair.
I called and scheduled a plumber for a leaking toilet. He arrived and was very friendly and efficient. It took him approximately 10 minutes to replace a gasket in the toilet and gave me a bill for $134.95. I questioned the service call feature and he said that if he did nothing there would have been no charge.
I think that amount charged was outrageous. the part could not have cost over $5.00 and 10 minutes of work was then $130.00. I paid the bill but will not be able to recommend the company to others. The rates are too high and the ad is clearly misleading.
