In July 2018, "Pete" came to our house to diagnose our AC unit which was not working. He brought no equipment other than his cellphone. He told us our unit was "frozen" and "full of ice" and we would need a brand new AC unit because it was "old" and "cold to the touch". He showed us another house he did ON HIS CELLPHONE that he had diagnosed but refused to open our unit to show us the "ice". After not feeling good about the guy, we then got a second opinion from ... in Powder Springs who CORRECTLY diagnosed our problem as a TRIPPED BREAKER SWITCH!!!! All the technician from ... did was walk over to the fuse box and flip a switch and the AC came back on! NO CHARGE!! When I contacted ACCUTEMP for a refund of the $99 "scam" diagnostic, they refused! Even after I told them that "Pete" never even asked us where our breaker box was! SCAM COMPANY! Glad I didn't spend $5000.00 for a new unit from these shysters!
