The house my wife first bought together and had our first child back in 1981 while we were stationed at Ft Hood became a rental property managed by JWC. We were out of State and out of Country for many years. We were assured our property was being taken care of and looked good. We moved back to TX and drove up from San Antonio to find our house in ruins- the siding was falling off, you could see the insulation and studs. The house had windows and screens busted, doors with holes and scratches from pets, carpet stained from animal urine. The tenant had moved out suddenly and no claim was put in via collection claims for over 3 yrs. JWC only defense was that they were proud that it was rented out the entire time it was listed with them. It cost over $6,000 for new siding and thousands for new doors, carpet, paint, patching. JWC was the worst management company I have ever used or heard about.
