BUYER BEWARE! 7/29/2014

Drove my car perfectly fine on the O'Reilly parking lot to get my battery changed. The service technician was amazing! Very nice and helpfull. He went in to change my battery and then told me to start her up.... Nothing. My car was completely dead. No fan, no radio, nothing. He at this point called someone out to see if they had ever encountered this issue which of course they had not. After countless attempts of reading threads on the internet and trying different things to get my car working, nothing. Finally trying to be helpful he calls dodge to see what to do next. Apparently my battery is on the list of cars that should not be changed out due to my Dodge Magnum needing a certain amount of voltage continuously while one is changing the battery. So finally after I had called for a tow truck the manager on duty had came out and spoke to me confirming that O'Reilly would pay for all the work done at the dodge dealer. This all happened four days ago. Today my car finally got fixed and when it came time for O'Reilly to pay to right their wrong, they said they would not pay. Even though their technician against company policy changed out my battery and locked my car down the fault did not fall back on them. Now the best I am able to get from their Regional manager Ken is that this is not their problem after all the work had already been authorized to be done. Now I am sitting with no car and a $200.00 battery improperly installed in my car. Do the right thing when it comes to spending your hard earned money with big businesses that do not treat their customers with respect and take your business elsewhere. more
