Piedmont metro one of the biggest in the triangle area, have used them 2 times one being a complete ac install with all duct work. Before new unit even arrived at house guy was at door asking for complete payment, not a down payment but full payment. Then during install kept trying to find new things wrong and upselling. wouldnt they know what needs to be done when they reccomanded new unit in the first place. After about 5-6 weeks they still werent completly done and no showing up when they had made an appointment, but were showing up on days they were not suppsoe to be there. Neighbors would call me at work and be like the AC guys are outside your house. I find this to be very unprofessional and what where they doing there anyway since they couldnt get in the house.
I would not reccomand them to anyone the upselling, general concern only for money and asking for payment before work is complete and having to fight with them to get home inspection done only after calling wake county did something get done.
Shop around and make smart choices its way to much money to deal with amatures.
