I had $2.50 face value of silver coins I was trying to sale. Today (4/29/11) the silver spot is going between $46 and $48/oz. That would make my $2.50 face worth about $85 melt. he offered me $4.50, that is about 5% what it is worth. When i told him that I could get about $70 elsewhere he said I was crazy.
* I sold them for $67.50 (about 80% what it was worth) at Salem Coin. I was very happy with that.
