Decided to eat here at the last minute for dinner. The food was good, we had crab cakes (which is actually an appetizer) with salad and I had jambalaya. We drank Abita beer which is a local beer. The jambalaya was nice and spicy and filling. The crab cakes were good and the salad was average. We basically walked in and got a table (4:30 pm on a Sunday) with no wait. The staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. The view out the windows is of Jackson Square or Decatur Street so that is nice. There are over 1300 restaurants in New Orleans, I have eaten in probably 40 and would encourage people to eat here. The price was about average for a meal in New Orleans although you can find cheaper places and much more expensive places. I have seen other reviews that raked this place over the coals but I saw nothing to not give this place a five star rating, although I would probably have given it a 4.5
