This pub is exactly the reason I do not ever go to chain restaurants or bars. The service is friendly, the new menu is terrific (fear not- wings and fish and chips still available) as are a nice mix of handmade gnocchi to a delicious cheeseburger and cottage pie. I adore the relaxed, cozy atmosphere and seeing all ages enjoying themselves. Check out their website to see the menu! And I haven't even mentioned yet the fantastic variety of beers to try! I always have a great time and if I think it might be a busy night, call ahead to reserve a table. And lastly, enjoy this wonderful Pub Lancaster can call it's own!
