Movers Bill, Dave and Steve were extremely friendly and very professional. The impressed us with the efficiency and care they took in both packing their truck and unloading our things into a storage unit. They didn't smoke, take a break or even stop. I had to persuade them onto the dock after the truck was loaded for a group picture.
I believe I talked to Shari on the phone to set up the move and she is a wonderful. And Ed called us back to allay any questions or worries we had. Now that's customer service.
They don't nickel and dime you. They don't have hidden charges. I've read lots of reviews on dishonest movers and Windy City are reputable and honest. We are going to use them on our interstate move.
It was my first time ever using a mover and I couldn't think of anyone better.
Keep in mind that we had packed up all the small things and moved them ourselves. That cuts down on the cost as they charge by the hour. They moved all the furniture that was too large or heavy for us to handle.
